It’s that time of year to leave the desert and heading north home to Washington, although these days I wonder where home is or if I have a home at all. All the mostly elderly people who spend winters in the desert, the local fishermen I’ve met here and my friends all asking the same question; “Where can you go to get away from all this?” There have been a lot of troubling things happening here, if that’s how it is everywhere else in America, we are fucked.

Most of my time the past month or so has been spent kayak fishing and posting to the watermanatwork.com kayak fishing blog. I’ve been spending most of the time at watermanatwork.com, but I usually take a few sunrise photos if it’s a nice one. Here are a few sunrise photos from a couple different locations.
That’s about it for now. Hoping the the trusty Toyota won’t have any problems and the next posts will probably be photos from the northbound trip. I don’t think I will be in much of a hurry. I wish I was driving to a place that’s happier. Such is life.
