Checking In

Checking in at ronbarbish.com after a few months since the last blog post. A lot has happened, for sure. I spent most of August running from forest fires in the Pacific NW. Most of the places I ride my mountain bike and go camping have burned. Then, the long drive from the Columbia River Gorge to Oceanside, CA to see my friend Mike. Then over to the Colorado River for a month of record triple digit heat. The winter desert wind is starting to blow, so I’m trying to get as much kayak fishing in as possible.

I noticed there was a small problem with the Rons Junk web page so that was fixed.

I don’t spend much time here because most of my time is spend at the watermanatwork, com blog. If you want to see what’s been happening in some detail, check out the watermanatwork.com blog. I’ve been kayak fishing and fooling around with ham radio and SDR.

I’m trying to get as many kayak photos and video because I’ve got a feeling this is going to be it for the desert kayak fishing and camping. This area is going through big changes and the BLM that manages the place is out of control. Of course, if the election goes bad in a few weeks we’ll have more important things to deal with. Roll the dice, see what comes up.
