Noah's Ark was a little known surf break in North San Diego County. Not too popular because it wasn't that great of a wave and you had to walk to get there. I lived across the highway and railroad tracks so I didn't have to drive. This photo was taken by my neighbor Jan, who wanted to try her hand at the big money world of surf photography. She used my camera with a cheap 400mm f8 lens and half a roll of film. Rookie photographer, crappy camera gear and crappy surf spot actually wound up with a memorable surf shot for me.
