From the "lost but forgotten" file is this picture of me riding a kneeboard at Acacia Ave. in Carlsbad about 1975. The board can be seen
here, second picture down. The wave looks perfect, but calling it two feet would be generous. The whitewater in the foreground is the beach.
Not much, but it's the first photo of me riding a surfboard.
