SCCA - Long Beach Grand Prix 1987

1987 Sports Car Club of America license. Everyone on the racing team who would be in the pits or garage had to have one. I was supposed to take photos, but the team was racing small block Chevrolet engines, which I knew something about.

The biggest race was the Grand Prix of Long Beach.

In the morning, I had breakfast with the team sponsors. The internet and websites were still relatively new, I was explaining how the photos of the race could be used for their marketing.

It was still film days so it would be at least a few days until we could see the actual photos.
