Lake Calavera in North San Diego County on the day after Christmas 2004. We first started riding mountain bikes here in the mid 1980's. We could ride from my shop on State Street in downtown Carlsbad all the way out here along the railroad tracks and on ranch roads. Don't load up the bikes and head out there, it's not the 1980's. Bicycle riding here is illegal.
