The fishing was always good at Esker Lakes Provincial Park. My father had relatives in nearby Kirkland Lake so we spent several summer vacations here. For a kid who loved being outdoors and on the water, it was better than Disneyland.
I spent all day fishing and canoeing whenever I got my hands on one.
