This is an award winning photo of the Columbia River Gorge with Mt. Hood in the distance above the clouds.
The place I lived at had no cell phone coverage or internet. To reach a cell tower, I had to ride my bicycle about five miles through the mountains to this spot if I needed to make a phone call. That's not a sandy trail, it's ice.
